The Terminator fame actor has a quick response for President Donald Trump after he alleged that Arnold was responsible for decreased ratings of Celebrity Apprentice. Because he had to leave the show for his presidential campaign and it was taken over by the former Governor of California.
Trump asked people to ”pray for Arnold” and termed the new series of the show a ”disaster” on Thursday while attending the annual National Prayer Breakfast held in Washington, DC.
The newly elected President said: “We had tremendous success on ‘The Apprentice’, and when I ran for president, I had to leave the show… and they hired a big, big movie star, Arnold Schwarzenegger, to take my place, and we know how that turned out.”
“The ratings went right down the tubes. It’s been a total disaster, and [executive producer] Mark [Burnett] will never, ever bet against Trump again. And I want to just pray for Arnold, if we can, for those ratings, OK?”
The actor was quick to a response by sharing an online video in which he suggested that we both should ”switch job”.
He said in the video: “Hey Donald, I have a great idea: Why don’t we switch jobs? You take over TV because you’re such an expert at ratings, and I take over your job, and then people can finally sleep comfortably again.”
