Most Dangerous Dinosaurs Discovered in Pakistan so Far

Dinosaurs had a million years back story, but there fossils are still here to be revealed on earth. Still the world is revealing their fossils every other day. Pakistan being engaged in revealing fossils, Even though the security and other reasons may not favoring the researcher to explore the places, still paleontologists were and still are dedicating their time and passion in expanding their research model in prehistoric fossils.

However, at the time I am writing, Pakistan has explored and announced few most terrifying yet appalling dinosaurs fossils during past many years. We will not cover all the Dinosaur fossils but some of them which are more unique and point of focus.


Pakisaurus, a large animal, can overcome any other species of dinosaurs with reference to size. It is an extinct genus of sauropod dinosaur which was to be found usually in Balochistan in western Pakistan, during the late Cretaceous period. The type species, P. Baluchistani is based on four tail vertebrae, as well as three additional tail vertebrate, which were found in Maastrichtian-age rock at the Pab Formation.


The remains of Marisaurus were discovered at the Mari Bohri locality in the Vitakri member of the Pab Formation, Barkhan District, Balochistan Province, Pakistan, by a team of palaeontologists from the Geological Survey of Pakistan (GSP) in 2001.


Vitakridrinda, a family member of Abelisaurid found in Baluchistan , western Pakistan. It was Discovered in Pakistan by the Palaontologists Team who surveyed the Baluchistan area and discovered this previous fossil in 2006. This kind of dinosaur was used to be predator in its time due its sharp eyes, one of most dangerous ones in dinosaur era.


Balochisaurus, was popular for being small yet long tail neck with elephant size, different among many other genus.  It was discovered in Vitakri, by the researcher team in Baluch Tribes of Pakistan.
