India in response did not show any incompetency in batting, as we know their batting strength is meant for T20 overs. Highly professional batting lineup starting from Dhawan who score 73 off 80 balls, but due to injury during match he retired hurt, and Suresh Raina too who scored valuable 41 for his team which lead them to close to the target and made 192/3 for the night.
In final 4 overs, there are 55 runs that India required to win this match. But SA can’t give them on plate; Dhoni and Yuvraj were on crease to help India overcome this match. SA’s Abbott bowled in depth overs made difficult for India to catch up those 55 margin.
In last 6 balls India were require another 14 runs. Morris started with a curling off stump Yorker that Dhoni tried to cut but missed. A superb low full toss nearly resulted in a lbw, but an inside edge saved Yuvraj. Ten from 2 balls now. Dhoni struck a splendid shot to four. So final ball and 6 runs for India. Morris in at final delivery, Dhoni only able to grab 2 runs which was resulted in a loss for India and by 4 runs.
